Jay Weintraub, LCSW graduated from Rutgers University in 1991 with a Masters of Social Work degree and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1995. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Richard Stockton University in 1987. Jay has 25 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient, partial care, residential and outpatient care. Jay has worked with individuals as well as groups. Jay has also been a field instructor for the Rutgers School of Social Work.
Jay works with adults, children, adolescents and couples with an emphasis on helping people to move past their troubling thoughts and emotions, enabling them to accomplish their goals and achieve wellness. Jay comes from a goal driven and strength based model and believes in being authentic and genuine and sees the time spent together as a collaborative process.
