Rachel Schwartz, LPC is licensed by the NJ State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Touro College and her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. Rachel has worked with different populations at several clinics and community mental health centers, including children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
Her specialties include working with mood disorders and trauma, as well as emotional and behavioral challenges. Rachel’s approaches to treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness- based practices, grounding techniques, and psychoeducational modalities. She helps her clients to manage and overcome their depression, anxiety, mood instability, trauma and anger through her warm and compassionate approach to treatment and her genuine efforts to guide her client to a happier way of life.
