Patricia W. Moseley, MA, NCC, LAC has earned a Master of Arts in Counseling degree and is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She has interned at Trinitas, conducting individual and group therapy sessions. She was fortunate enough to secure an internship and work at Family Service of Morris County in their Behavioral Health Department counseling clients of all ages in individual and group therapy. Patricia is also a certified School Counselor and has worked as such for 4 years. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, N.J. School Counselor Association, N.J. Association for College Admission Counseling and other associations.
Ms. Moseley brings a wealth of life experience to the counseling profession. She has counseled people of a variety of cultures, ethnicities, lifestyles and ages. Patricia strives to build a strong, trusting and comfortable rapport with her clients by being genuine, supportive, empathetic and expressing unconditional positive regard. Her primary goal for every client is to improve their self-esteem and coping skills. Patricia incorporates different skills, techniques, activities and treatment styles necessary to fit her clients’ needs from such theoretical approaches as, but not limited to, Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral, Existentialism and others. Her personal philosophy is to ‘treat people the way I want to be treated,’ and she lives by that daily. Patricia is under the supervision of Belinda Amatekpor, LPC.
