Natalie Lombardi is a dedicated Licensed Social Worker at ITI-NJ, currently working under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor to fulfill the supervised hours required to obtain her Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Before joining ITI, Natalie gained valuable experience working in various settings and roles, ranging from providing in-home therapy services for children on the autism spectrum; in-school counseling support for youth; extensive experience in direct client care, group therapy facilitation, and specialized crisis intervention within a partial hospitalization program for youth (ages 5-17) dealing with ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger management, abuse/neglect, gender identity; and providing support and advocacy for adults dealing with mental health issues and housing instability. Natalie’s comprehensive experience with both children and adults facing mental health challenges and trauma have equipped her with the skills necessary to offer expectational care to her clients. She is committed to crafting a personalized therapeutic experience that addresses the unique needs of each individual.

Natalie uses an integrative approach that combines elements of CBT, trauma-informed care, psychodynamic therapy, person-centered therapy, mindfulness training, and some holistic methods. Her goal as a therapist is to create a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where clients can rebuild their self-confidence, cultivate inner strength, and work toward navigating life challenges with clarity and perspective. Natalie’s therapeutic philosophy is rooted in empowerment and for individuals to uncover their power to rewrite their stories and end generational cycles. Natalie supports her clients in taking the necessary steps to reaching their full potential and living a more fulfilling and happier life. “Maybe healing is not something that takes us from broken to fixed but from alone to connected or from afraid to peaceful”

In her free time, Natalie enjoys Pilates, hiking, and walks with a view, as she believes in the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being. Natalie ensures that the therapeutic journey is met with a compassionate approach and commitment in striving for individual wellness and autonomy. Natalie is under the supervision of Courtney Anderson-Harvey, LCSW.
