Tammy Andrade, LSW is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her graduate degree from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Social Work and her Bachelors degree in Child Advocacy and Policy at Montclair State University.
Tammy is bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English. and has a Latin American background. Tammy has experience working in diverse settings including schools, family centers, residential facilities, and the justice system. Tammy specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults. She works with clients struggling to overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief and loss, sudden life changes, separations and co-occurring mental health diagnoses.
Tammy’s mission is to ensure her clients are equipped with coping tools to address stressors and challenges they may be facing. She incorporates a variety of treatment approaches in therapy including Client-Centered approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Play therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Tammy provides a supportive, safe, and culturally sensitive environment for her clients as they seek to live well balanced lives. Tammy is under the supervision of Gayle Brown, LCSW.
